Syllabus Statement on University Counseling Center

Instructors are encouraged to include this statement in all course syllabi.

Students experiencing distress or mental health concerns are encouraged to talk with a counselor at the University Counseling Center. The Counseling Center can provide same-day crisis counseling, group therapy, short-term individual counseling, psychiatry, and referral for longer term or specialized care. All services are free and confidential. To get connected, call 216-397-4283 or come to the Counseling Center on the Garden Level of Dolan Hall. For after-hours mental health crises, students can call 988, text 4HOPE to 741-741, or call JCU Police.
